California Almonds Poised to Hit 2 Billion Pounds

The National Agricultural Statistics Service’s (NASS) initial prediction for California almond production is at the two billion pound mark. The past two years have been about five percent lower due to various circumstances. The last year to produce two billion pounds was in 2013. This means that there will be a large demand for our hopper trailers. Our team at Standard Truck and Trailer has been working diligently preparing the hoppers for this upcoming harvest. We still have some hoppers available for rent for almonds and other nuts. As the NASS has raised the expectation of production from last year, be sure to not miss out on the trailer rental needs you will have as the harvest season approaches quickly.
